• No, they still use a micro-USB charging cable.

• Yes, when you return the ear buds to the case, if the case has been charged, the case will recharge the buds. I think it will do it 2-3 times in between plugging the case in for charge.

• Yes it is similar to the Air Pod charging case, I love the BOSE charging case cause its magnetic and makes sure it keeps your wireless headphones charged always on the go.

• Yes, similar concept but the Bose case is a lot larger because of the ear bud design. Not a huge issue from my perspective.
