They worked with my HP laptop and apple I phone!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You should be able to use them with you Macbook. Yes, Bose does say to use their app but they are still bluetooth headphones. I would use mine for my Windows PC and they worked fine. However, I never tired using the mic. BUT I don't seem why they wouldn't work. Oh and you might not want to post the serial number of your headphones. People might be able to register the device and try to make a warranty claim.
