“Does this have an IR repeater? It would be blocking the IR remote signal that is located in the center bottom of tv. I dont know if the tv will turn on, if the soundbar blocks this”

I have found that if I point the remote at the IR REPEATER, I can turn on and off the tv without difficulty.Before realizing that ,I would have much trouble with simply turning on and off the power.If a tech had simply told me this from the outset ,I would have had a much more pleasant few days with our new TV for the first few days.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no repeater, but the universal remote that comes with the sound bar can virtually be used for any TV. The manual has codes for a ton of TV brands and Set Top boxes, like Comcast, Direct TV, etc. and once paired, you need just that one remote!
