• I believe it has that option but most likely it always comes from the tv sound options. But there shouldn't be no problem with just hooking up the optical cable.

• I could not find an audio adjustment feature for the sound bar. I have had to adjust another sound bar I owned in the past, but this one synced up perfectly during set up.
