Does this Bose 300 have a good deep bass sound? null

The base is decent for music and tv. Not so much for movies. You will want the additional base unit for movies.

The sound bar does not. Needs the sub that go with it.

Yes it does! Even without the subwoofer it is very good. Much richer than anything else I tested.
