The hot spot on your phone most likely creates an ad-hoc network, which the sound bar may not report as a valid wireless network. One solution is to add a mobile hotspot device onto your cellphone plan to create a true wireless network. This is probably the easiest. Another solution is to plug your computer into the sound bars Ethernet port, but this isn't as straight forward since you will need to either configure DHCP on the network or wait for the IP auto configuration (assuming the sound bar will automatically assign itself an IP address).
