QuestionI would like to know if I can use my original Bose sound touch 300 remote control to work my new Apple 4K TV, so as to control You Tube TV, picking various channels, using remote for fast forwarding or rewinding, adjusting volume, etc ??

QuestionI just installed the SoundTouch 300. When pairing to sub the indicator light will not stay lit. What I doing wrong

- Answer The indicator turns off after 30 seconds just to save power. I would suggest checking the LED indicator on the Bass Module. This should be Solid White and if it stays this way this means that it is connected.

QuestionJust got the sound bar 300 . Was working fine with hdmi. Then I down loaded The update and connected it to the Bose app and other sound link Items. And now it’s not working on my tv there is no sound . tired to rest ands turn off WiFi nothing works

- Answer Did you press the TV icon once finished with Soundtouch? This should turn the Soundbar back to the TV input source.

QuestionI have 151 outdoor speakers currently hooked up to my receiver. My soundtouch is now directly connected to my tv, therefore rendering my receiver useless. Is there anyway to connect my 151's to the soundtouch?

- Answer We have a device called the Soundtouch Wireless Link Adapter. This will turn any non-soundtouch system into a Soundtouch enabled system. Contact our support for more information.

QuestionCan I use the Bose 500 sound bar module and 500 bass without connected to the WiFi when using it to watch a movie or tv? Or does it always have to be connected to WiFi in order to use it? I don’t have internet at the moment so that is my concern, thanks!

- Answer It is possible to connect the Bass Module 500 to the Soundbar 500 without internet. However this is not our preferred method of connection. Though you can use the Soundbar 500 without internet, you lose a lot of the features of the Soundbar which utilise the internet.

QuestionI have the ST300 and an EUG projector with a firestick. None of these are master systems, but the projector and ST300 are both Bluetooth. Do I need a master system like a receiver to control all of them? Is there a way to control all the sound and video?

QuestionCan you connect with tv using wi-fi

- Answer The sound bar WiFi is for audio streaming services (Pandora, Spotify, etc.) using your smart devices. TV audio connection can done via HDMI (ARC), optical, or Bluetooth. I would not recommend Bluetooth, since it will introduce a slight delay in the audio - quite noticeable when watching TV.

We apologize for any confusion that may have been caused. The sound quality would be affected using this setup, as the speaker uses our Phaseguide technology to send audio from the sides of the soundbar. The audio then reflects off of your walls to create a surround sound effect. - Answer I’m not sure what Bose speaker you have, but it should work. I have my Bose virtually invisible 300 rear speakers connected wirelessly and the Bose 300 sub woofer connected wirelessly. You can also connect Amazon Echo devices wirelessly.

QuestionHave a brand new Bose SoundTouch 300 sound bar which turned itself off every so often an update was done to switch off this auto off feature. Now the WiFi light continuously blinks even when the sound bar is off. No WiFi here, can this light be disabled ?

- Answer Hello, Drew. Thank you for reaching out to us. We're glad to help. Wi-Fi can be disabled on the SoundTouch 300 with these steps: 1. On the remote, press the SoundTouch button. 2. Press and hold the zero button until the Wi-Fi indicator, TV indicator, SoundTouch indicator and Bluetooth indicator on the soundbar blink white. 3. When the Wi-Fi is disabled, the Wi-Fi icon on the soundbar turns off. Please note that this will also disable Bluetooth on the system. QuestionI'm mounting my TV (XBR65X900F) over my fireplace and planning on resting the 300 soundbar on the mantle. Can I bluetooth connect the TV-Soundbar to avoid running an optical/HDMI so no wires are seen?

- Answer You can, but your sound bar will still need power. We mounted the soundbar to the tv and no wires are visible. You need a special bracket for the Bose sound bar but it looks great and then you can put a few decorative items on the mantel. See pic below.
