Q: QuestionI really hate to ask, but doesn't it come with a remote? Why would someone buy this as an accessory, it you get one in the box?Well, I guess I should have been a little more specific. Yes, I am aware, that if you thought I was asking about the remote, than your answer is correct...the remote itself, does not come with a remote. Now then, in the name of clarity, I was drawing attention to the Bose Wave family of radios and CD players. This remote is listed as an accessory to this family of products. All of them (the family of Bose Radio and CD players), seem to come with a remote - it says so right on these web-pages. The remote is called out as a, "Credit-Card Style Remote," and under that heading it goes on to say, "Let's you easily control the radio from a distance". So, there you have it. I'm sorry your product did not come with a remote, but if you bought one of these radios, it pretty much looks like it should have. That said, why would someone need or want to buy another?

• A:Answer That's a great question and one we are happy to answer. Quite frankly, it is available for customers who want to have a second remote. There is a remote in the box. There are a wide variety of reasons. Sometimes spouses want their own remote on each side of the bed. Sometimes customers with kids or pets would like a backup one in the drawer because life happens and it may be lost or damaged. We are happy to clarify this for you.
