• A:Answer Hey jack, I believe you do. I just recently bought this stereo for my car. There were a few different harnesses I had to get for it to work. But it was all worth it. I bought steering wheel control harness, camera retain harness, usb retain harness, and the interface.

• A:Answer No it is not recommended because the climate controls are integrated into the factory radio panel. The factory backup camera won't work anymore, and an iDatalink ready stereo is required to retain the vehicles personalization settings menu. Also if you have the Bose audio system all of the factory speakers would need to be replaced with standard 4 ohm speakers to prevent overheating and other damage to the radio.

• A:Answer This unit only supports wired Android Auto connection. Although you could buy a adaptor/module that connects into Android Auto cable to turn this into wireless Android Auto. You can easily find one on Amazon. I simply researched it but did not have the time to get one and try it out.

• A:Answer It depends on how you install the backup camera. Oddly enough there are two ways you can power the camera. It has a purple and white wire that you.can connect to either your gear shift to detect the vehicle is in reverse, or you can connect.it to your reverse light (that's what I always do). Then there is a red and white wire that will send power to the camera any time you press on the camera option on the home screen. You could even have both if you wanted. Make it kick on automatically when reverse is engaged as well as any other time you choose by tapping it. Hope that helps.

• A:Answer Most pictures online are misleading. Behind the detachable 10.1" screen sits a single din unit. This unit slides into you dash replacing your old unit. The screen sits sticking out which can be adjusted in many ways.

• A:Answer There are no apps on the receiver itself. It displays apps that are on your phone using the USB port with your data/charging cable that came with your phone. You can change which apps appear using the mobile settings on your phone. It will not allow YouTube to play, only YouTube Red (music only app). Only video it will play is from a flashdrive. But it must be in the proper format. Also, video can only be viewed when parked. There are hacks to bypass but if caught watching/playing video while driving by law enforcement, that can be a hefty fine.
