I suspect that it is best to use the play store on the phone which will then make whatever app you choose to download onto your phone available through the radio. I have found this unit to be amazingly intuitive and helpful. My only complaint is that while it will show messages from both the iphone and android phones it will not display the Facebook messenger texts. Perhaps an upgrade is forth coming.

A:AnswerNo. It talks fine to your apple carplay or android auto. I would think that you would just stream video through one of these. I am really pleased with the unit and am thrilled that I didn't have to alter the dash to get a big screen.
