Q: QuestionConflicting specifications for microphone and voice controlled alexa features. Description says yes and no to both in different locations. Does it have a microphone? Is there a voice activated Alexa feature?

• A:Answer It has a microphone, much better quailty and clearly picked up voice compared to most "in box" mics, Does not work with "Alexa " commands. Works off Google commands when no phone is synchronized in limited capacity, Example- "Google, Directions to work" Works of Android/ Google commands when a Andrioid Auto compatible Smart phone is synchronized Works of Apple Comands when a compatible I phone smart phone is synchronized Many features use the Apple/ Android cable AND Bluetooth to function properly * If you are not plugged into the port the available commands, execution are limited

• A:Answer Yes and no. Your speakers are what's producing the sounds after all. This does have a nice built in amplifier though as well as subwoofer output.

Q: QuestionIs anyone else having trouble with the auto dimming feature? I have an older car with auto headlights and when the lights turn on the head unit flashes between day and night settings. Checked connection 4 times and also tried in another car.

• A:Answer It sounds like the original light wires were wired to your lights. I have a head unit from boss audio and the original unit wiring was connected to the dash lighting. When I turn the dash light all the way up it flashes between night and day on the display. That makes me assume your lights may be getting a full signal tripping this day night switch.
