- Answer These are made in B&W's state of the art facility in China. Only the 800 series is currently made near their headquarters in England.

Questioncan I place the 705 s2 on a shelf instead of the speaker stands? Do I need to put it on foam or rubber feet due to mounting hardware on the bottom of the speaker.

- Answer I found feet to help a lot, I got the half globe kind (1.25 inch) and they work amazing. Even on a stand, I used these feet to isolate the speaker.

QuestionI am mounting shelves for two speakers. The spec indicates the weight is 20.5 pounds. Is that weight for the pair or each individual speaker?

QuestionI am considering replacing my Revel Performa M20s and C30 after 22 years of great service. My room is 12 ft wide and my seats place our ears 8 to 10 feet from the TV depending on recline. Are these a good replacement? Any other good choices?

- Answer Perfect for to a small room . My room is 12 x 10 and the sound for. The 705 s2 is imersable. Highly reccomend.
