Q: QuestionDo they come with stands? If not, what do stands cost? Stands are a must.

• A:Answer 805D3 are sold without stands as some customers use them as bookshelf speakers. The matching stand is the FS805 and they are available for $1200 per pair.

Q: QuestionWhat is the best amp, let us forget $ for a second. Lit. says 50 watts to 120, into 8Ohms, so that means a Mc150, or Pass Labs, XA60.8 {2}, the XA30.8 at 30 per isn't going to be enough?

• A:Answer I would get the Rotel RA-1572. Rotel is a sister company to B&W and the Integrated Amplifier was designed with B&W speakers in mind. The Amp has 2 x 120W output and the B&W 805 D3 is rated 50-120W at 8 Ohms ... You do not want to overpower your speakers...

• A:Answer 40.1 inches without attaching spikes or rubber feet to the bottom of the stands. Those add an additional 1/2".
