You can always make adjustments by looking up apps lets say on your cell phone for example. I have used Volume boosters, treble boosters and app equalizers so you definitely adjust the sound the way you like it, they also have bass boosters. Easy to download and most of them are free

Do not quite remember if they are supposed to be noise cancelling but they sure do the trick. Lose myself in the music as if I was in the studio with the artist. Definitely recommend. Worth the pricetag. Hope this is helpful.

I would highly recommend giving these a try, and Best Buy is always great to help out if they're not as expected. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say the sound quality is very good. Like B&W speakers, there is higher clarity so I hear more highs and mids and a tighter bass. It is not bass heavy like some. I used them out of the box on iPod and A&K jr and they sounded great, no accessories required.
