• A:Answer I have 4 ceiling speakers in my living room, my bedroom right on top, I installed Rockwool insulation for sound in the floor joists and the bass travels through still, not so much the highs but definitely the lows, hope this helps.

Q: Questionhow much wider does the cavity in the wall need to be than the cut out for installing the speaker?

• A:Answer Hello Ty, Here are the cutout dimensions: 7-7/16"W x 13"H The cavity does not need to be much wider, the speaker will come with a cutout template as well to make installation easier and more precise.

• A:Answer Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. The Bowers & Wilkins CI700/CCM7.3S2 speakers include a back box, speaker, and grill. Please note that the speakers are sold individually, not as pairs. The weight of the speaker, including accessories, is approximately 20lbs. To install, first, set up the back box, then attach the speaker. Connect the speaker wire to the back box, and secure the speaker to the back box. The signal is transmitted to the speaker through a specialized connection between the speaker and back box.
