My phone (Galaxy S5) is loving having cool air blown on it during the summer. During the winter, heat usually comes from the floor so I don't think it will be an issue. If it is, I will close the vent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, unless your heater is hot enough to cook food. The backing on the mount is a thick plastic so that alone will block your phone from most of the vented air. And on the other end, your AC will never be strong enough to freeze an electronic device. If anything it'll just add on as a mild coolant to keep your phone from heating up do to use. [doubtful it could even contribute that much]
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Brooks, I wouldn't recommend it. If you have ever left your phone out in the sun to long and got the extreme heat phone shutting down message, that"s what has happen to me in the past with my heat on high for about 30 minutes. i hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you're worried I would just turn off the vent it's mounted on. That's what I do when I use heat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I worry about mine getting too hot. So I do not leave it in the holder when I have the heater on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an iPhone 6plus S and it is fine as long as I keep that vent off while I'm using it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had one in my car for almost 2 years and have had no problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have pondered this same question. Since my smart phone does get warm and this device does expose it to the sun at times I decided that the a/c probably would help to keep it cool, but I think the heat is questionable. I haven't used it during the winter, but if I do I would set my dial to no heat coming from that particular vent. With that said I'm no expert, just my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an Iphone and have not had any problems. I've had this bracket for two years in New York
