The magnet doesn't interfere with the cell phone at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only issue I've noticed is when the phone is connected to the holder, the compass on the phone is not accurate because of the magnet. I do not use the compass when I am driving it is no loss.

Please try again later.I was concerned about this because I have always heard to keep magnets away from computers - but a phone doesn't have the parts a desktop or laptop does, so I figured it was fine. My smartphone is in a thicker case and the magnet holds the phone in the case to the bracket. I have had it for a few weeks and no problems.
