The magnet doesn't interfere with the cell phone at all.

The only issue I've noticed is when the phone is connected to the holder, the compass on the phone is not accurate because of the magnet. I do not use the compass when I am driving it is no loss.

I was concerned about this because I have always heard to keep magnets away from computers - but a phone doesn't have the parts a desktop or laptop does, so I figured it was fine. My smartphone is in a thicker case and the magnet holds the phone in the case to the bracket. I have had it for a few weeks and no problems.

Yes, those magnets will not harm your phone, but don’t put them near your debit/credit cards it will deactivate them. If you then you’ll have to call all that uses strips.

I have not had any issues with this magnetic mount. Doesn't seem to affect Bluetooth or cellular.

I put two magnets on the inside of my Samsung Note 5 otter box case and I haven't noticed any changes. I was still able to charge my phone on my friends wireless charger.
