Try the windshield. That is I always mount my gear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had to remove this mount. But the mounts that I have used in the past did not leave marks or ruin the dash.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased mine and used it in my Ford Expedition, is a textured dashboard, I found out that need to be installed in a kind of flat area, it will not work in the curve areas; no major issue for me. I removed, and took it to a rental Toyota Camry car, it worked excellent. Now I re-installed in my Ford expedition and is working just fine. Hope this review helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was never able to get it to stick to my dash. I always used it on my windshield or window. It definitely left residue after use but you could wipe clean.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s not supposed to and I’ve had n problems like the before. I think the suction mounts are better than the mounts that clip onto the AC vents or ones that are inserted into the CD slot.
