Thank you for your question. The heat from the sun should not interfere with the suction. However, if your windshield mount does fall off, you can clean the base with warm soapy water and let it air dry. Please feel free to contact [email protected], if you have other questions. I found that I had the best results by washing off the suction cup, and also cleaning the glass really well where I wanted to mount it. Hopefully this will work for you too.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not experienced hot weather yet, but the key to the best adhesion is to clean the area of glass where you will mount it with rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner. My bracket is still holding strong.
