It’s a suction cup that is very strong. You can change it to wherever as many times and it still holds. Just don’t moisten the suction cup before placing it on. It won’t hold until it dries.

It uses suction and any imperfection in the plastic cup or window will result in a slowly releasing holder that will fall when you least expect it. Probably ok for short term use and pretty easy to move from vehicle to vehicle. Just make sure glass, suction cup are both clean and be careful not to damage cup when releasing.

Just make sure that the surfaces you are placing the mount onto do not have any residue such as dust, as this will block suction on the suction cup.
