Please try again later.I use my Bracketron window suction cup mount bracket to hold my Pixel 2 XL (in an Otterbox Defender case) for navigating via the Waze navigation app on a daily basis. Works fine for me. However, I don't know what the width of the Note 8 is. I suggest you take your Note 8 into the store and try fitting it into the bracket before purchasing. I expect the employee will allow/assist you to do so. Be sure to wipe the area of your windshield with a lint-free isopropyl alcohol wipe where you will apply the suction cup. That will greatly increase the time the suction will hold before the whole bracket falls. Mine stays attached to the windshield for several months between reattachments. BTW, Bracketron improved the manufacturing design of this mount in the last year or so. MUCH more durable than it used to be. Be sure you get one that was recently manufactured (i.e., hasn't been on the store shelf/rack for years).
