“Does anyone know if CD Slot can be used while having the mount installed? I don't mean interchanging CDs which is obvious no. But, if I tried to install the mount after CD has already been inserted, would that prevent me from properly playing the CD?”

Every CD player is different, depending on where the sensor is. It could be fine, but it could also try eject your CD into the mount if it detects activity at the opening. We would not recommend using the player while the mount is inserted, just to be safe. Thanks, Bracketron Support
