Q: Would I have to remove my cell phone case in order to use this mount?
A: Not necessarily! While it certainly is an option to apply a metal plate directly to your phone, you also have the choice of putting a plate on the back of your phone case, or even between your phone and the phone case, provided that your phone case is not too thick. A: Every CD player is different, depending on where the sensor is. It could be fine, but it could also try eject your CD into the mount if it detects activity at the opening. We would not recommend using the player while the mount is inserted, just to be safe. Thanks, Bracketron Support

Q: Does this work for tablets as well?
A: Tablets are too big. My Samsung Note 8 was already at the edge. At best, the smallest, lightest tablet may work, but the average tablet would be too risky.
