• I believe the US model is 400 watts, 750 watts is the European model. I have not tried to crush ice, sorry.

• If you follow the Demo link to Braun on this page it does say only 400 watts for US. The reference to the Braun link from the other response takes you to the Aussie specs page, which does say the Aussie version of this appliance is 750 watts. This definately appears to be a typo in the Best Buy ad.

• The Braun Website for this states- 750W- see link http://www.braunhousehold.com/en-au/all-products/food-preparation/hand-blenders/multiquick-7-hand-blender-mq-777-0x22111162?TabSegment=specifications#specifications however no where on Brauns site does it state it will crush ice. So No clue if it will.
