- Answer No, there's no additional compartment that comes with the machine. However, you can purchase a second bean hopper, should you wish. Then, you can just switch out the hopper when needed.

QuestionI upgraded to this espresso machine after my Breville Grindmaster broke. My coffee has never been as hot as my drip coffee even maxing out on the brew temp setting. Is this normal for espressos or do I need to service machine?

- Answer There is not a compartment for storing pre-ground coffee. However, you may use pre-ground coffee, if you wish. You would put it into the filter. We do always suggest using freshly-roasted whole beans, of course, as they give the best taste, and you'll have the ability to make any needed grind size adjustments.

QuestionWhy is it so hard 2 dial in the machine to make perfect espresso & when I had it close twice, the next several shots were diff each time. I thought once u dial in it would stay the same every time but it changes every time even on the SAME settings!? HELP

- Answer It depends on the grind setting and how hard you tamp. If you have a setting that work a couple times look at how hard you’re tamping, the harder you tamp the slower the pour will be. If you’re constantly switching between coffee bean brands that’s is also a reason why your shots aren’t pouring correctly. Every company roasts its beans differently, so any new beans you get you have to adjust the grind settings for a good pour.
