• My hearing is bad but I hear the beep from another room with a door fairly closed (about 25' away).

• The Breville® BOV450 Smart Oven® Mini does have an audio alert for the preheat function completing any any cooking function completing.

• The Breville Compact Toaster oven I just bought has a very faint beep. I wish it were louder because I often miss the sound. This would be a good unit for you.
