• No, the Breville® BOV450 Smart Oven® Mini does not have a convection fan.

• Like everyone else says, it's not a convection oven. I looked for a convection/toaster oven to replace the same unit what we've had for ages. Convection ovens need more distance behind it and our small counter space wouldn't support one. They're all pretty big and the reviews are ... odd. So, I'm getting what we know works. I really tried to get something less expensive but failed. This one should outlast the two of us :) and that's okay.

• This is not convection - there is no fan to circulate heat. Just your standard upper and lower heating elements

• You can toast, bake, broil, roast, reheat...just about everything in this toaster oven. It's very user friendly, comes with a 10 x 10 baking pan.
