“Will this Breville broil a small steak? What size steak?”

• Absolutely you can broil a steak and other meats. Size limited only by 11” pan size. It doesn’t come with a broil pan, but the baking pan will work. I bought a smaller Nordic Ware pan at Penney’s that works well for two 4-5 inch pork chops, chicken breasts, salmon filets. The company does make a broil pan and 11”inch pizza pan, but they were sold out. I was able to leave an email to be notified when they have them.

• The broil rack that is compatible with the Breville® BOV450 Smart Oven® Mini fits inside the 10 x 10 baking pan. It is recommended to use these pans designed for use in the Breville® Smart Ovens®. The oven will broil steak very well though time adjustments to recipes may need to be made depending on the thickness and size of the steak.
