Can't replace microwave for boiling water. Can replace microwave for heating pizza, pie and cooking stuff you do in oven in general.

ABSOLUTELY a toaster oven can replace the microwave! We haven't used a microwave since ours broke over 10 yrs ago! You can bake, broil, toast and reheat in the toaster oven ...and everything will taste so much better especially pizza and pasta! We use the stove top to boil water (cook pasta, rice, vegetables, etc,) so can't help you with your other question.

You can but there is not a rotating table. Easier to boil water on stove or in a microwave

No. It does not have a heating element itself. It relies on a grill or stove to produce heat. This is just a metal and stone enclosure.

You can certainly heat water in this oven, but no, it doesn't replace a microwave. It would not do it as quickly.
