A:AnswerYes. We just replaced this few weeks ago. IT IS VENTED OR VENTLESS... You just remove little metal panel covers off top with a screwdriver. New design that hangs out slightly past edge of cabinet to vent without duct venting. The electrician thought we were wrong & it was only for outside vented until we called the store because the instructions didn't show to remove the little metal plate covers. Very simple, took less than a minute to take off.
A:AnswerI don't know what charcoal filters are, so I'd have to say no to your question. It has two filters that comes in and out very easily. Can rinse under water or be washed in the dishwasher.
The lights are not bulbs! So you never have to change them out! I love that. And their bright. It has 3 light levels. I use the lower one as a kitchen night light and the brightest one to cook with. I'm quit pleased with this hood.
A:AnswerThank you for your question regarding model number BCDF130SS. The non-ducted vents are located on the top of the hood at the front center. The non-ducted plate should be removed before installation to expose the vents for this type of installation.
A:AnswerThank you for your question on the BCDF130SS. This Range hood is designed to be installed as hardwired or with an optional power cord kit (SHCK44; sold separately).
A:AnswerAfter reading your question I measured mine: it's 6 inches high. Not having a vent system in my cabinets is one reason I chose this hood. I am liking it for several reasons and everything on it works well! Glad I got it.
A:AnswerYes. I replaced my exhaust microwave for this and am glad I did. It gives me much more clearance than what I did have. Everything on the hood works well! Glad I chose it.
A:AnswerThank you for your question regarding the BCDF130SS range hood. Yes, this model is Title 24 compliant. You will see the compliance information along the left hand side of our specification sheet.
A:AnswerYes it can be used as either vented or ventless. Nothing additional needed, just remove some small metal panels on top with screwdriver. Had to call the store because instructions didn't say anything about how to remove to make ventless. Electrician insisted we bought wrong one & couldn't use. It's a new design & he didn't realize you just remove the little plate covers to convert to ventless.
