“Question on Power Supply Options: I have seen some conflicting information on alternate power supply-can this be powered by a computer with a micro (scanner) to USB (computer) cable? Need to use it where AC power will not be available. Thanks!”

• I’ve never used it that way, but I use it in my truck by plugging it into an inverter that’s plugged into my cigarette lighter.
