QuestionI am looking for a Brother printer that makes great photoes. I am leaning towards buying Brother MFC J4420DW. Does anyone have experence printing pictures with this model or any other model. I scan and print a lot of pictures.

- Answer This is not the printer for you, the photos will not come out as crisp. This printer is more functional for higher volume document printing.

QuestionDoes this printer have a setting to use only Black Ink for printing/copies? I very rarely need color prints and want to save on ink cost. I know Brother also has a Laser printer which is highly rated but it’s not an all-in-one and I don’t do high volume.

- Answer no, you have to choose which style of copying you want to do. IE. 1 side to 1 side, 2 side to 2 side, 1 side to 2 side or 2 side to 1 side

- Answer Yes you just need to load the proper paper and set the printer to do so. Legal sizes are not a problem.
