“If printing a black and white document will this printer need color cartridge's? In other words. if I am out of a or all colors will the black print properly? My current ink jet needs colors for black to be black.”

• The HL-L3270CDW will print when the color cartridges are empty.

• I have not had this issue yet - but with other printers I have used - my experience is that as long as you have black toner (and the color prompt has not been resolved) everything shows up in black...with no color.
