“I am considering purchase of the MFC J 4335 DW. I am confused about ink. Does Brother require choosing between a model using the INKvestment Tank model with fill tank and another model using individual cartridges? Are they one and same?”

This printer DOES NOT have a tank but uses individual cartridges. The cartridges that come in the box will last for at least 1 year...great value
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Brother has both INKvestment tank model printers, and printers that just use regular ink cartridges. Brother INKvestment Tank printers have an internal ink storage tank (within the printer) to help minimize the need for ink cartridge replacement, as opposed to the regular cartridge printers which draw ink from the ink cartridges.
