• Not necessarily take the toner out and shake it and see if it will give you a few more pages

• My printer did the same thing. I replaced the Brother - Tn630 Toner Cartridge - Black , and it printed right away. Tip some times when it says replace cartidge remove it and shake the thing you wil;l get some more copies. I always buy an extra to have on hand.

• Yes. If your printer says replace toner it will definitely stop printing till you replace it.
