Q: QuestionThe fridge is set at the lowest temperature but our fridge thermometers show the fridge temperature to be Warm at 45 degrees on the lower shelf and 50 degrees on the upper shelf. Does this mean that the fridge is not working properly?

• A:Answer To properly measure internal temperatures, use a thermometer that can be placed in a liquid like a cup of water or a jar of pickles and leave in place overnight. If the temperatures are still running at 45°F and 50°F, you need service. Your food and milk would be spoiling prematurely at the temperatures you mentioned. • A:Answer The width of this refrigerator opened fully is 60-3/8" and the width of the door opened at 90 degrees is 48-3/8". The left and right side of this unit requires an 1/8" each for air clearance. While you are able to fully access everything at 90 degrees, the refrigerator will need to be fully opened to remove the drawers.
