It is not possible to determine the type of facilities each consumer has available or what the local electrical codes require (ex. 3-wire vs 4-wire). Q: QuestionDoes anyone have a photo of the back of the range. I'm installing in an island and want to see what the back of the range looks like as about 3/4 of an inch will stick up over the countertop. Thanks!

Q: QuestionAre silver handles/knobs not included as an option with the white Cafe Induction range? Do we have to order an additional handle/knob kit for $600? What would we do with the gold ones? This makes little sense, especially for a unit costing over $4,000

• A:Answer I see Cafe didn't answer "what do I do with the Gold set of knobs?" Why spend an additional 600 and then have two sets of knobs when they could just easily offer an option of color at purchase. I am sure it cost them the same no matter what color. I just ordered a different brand.

Q: QuestionI took a pan out of the oven and set it on top. While cleaning after use I noticed paint peeling off the top in front of the cooktop. I am concerned how a range this expensive can scratch so easily. Should I return for stainless one?

• A:Answer Hi Bill, Our Matte finishes are a highly engineered paint on metal (steel). We recommend that the interior and exterior Matte finish surfaces be treated similar to high-end coatings on automobiles. The Matte White and Matte Black finishes are not engineered for use with soap-filled scouring pads, abrasive cleaners any cleaning product containing chlorine bleach and/or abrasive cloths and paper towels. Use of these types of products may scratch and/or dull the Matte White and Matte Black finish. We recommended using a soft, clean cloth or a microfiber cloth.
