• A:Answer Hi - Thank you for reaching out. We recommend Keurig/Green Mountain K-Cups because of their quality and performance. You can also use K-Cups with the logo "Keurig", "Keurig Brewed", or "Keurig Hot" on the packaging or pod. Q: QuestionIs hot water dispensed from the water spout on the left or through the k-cup section on the right? I'm concerned about hot water picking up the taste of coffee if it comes through the right spout..

• A:Answer Hello - Thanks for reaching out about this fantastic refrigerator! The hot water is dispensed from a stainless steel dispense tube located under the right side of the control panel. The hot isn't dispensed from the center of the recess area. Thanks again! -Mikayla@Cafe

Q: QuestionWhat causes coffee pod leak out the back of pod

• A:Answer We hate to hear you’re having trouble with leaking. If the brewer is leaking during the cycle, you may want to make sure the K-cup is undamaged (with a good seal between the top cover and plastic bottom), the cup is seated properly and the brewer lid is able to close. The lower needle should puncture the K-cup before the lid is closed. Additional details on what to check for a leaking issue are available in an article on our associated GE Appliance website, titled ‘REFRIGERATOR - KEURIG® BREWING SYSTEM LEAKING FROM DOOR’. If you’d like to view that, you can do so by looking up the title and clicking the Support tab. If you continue to have trouble and think service may be needed, that department can be reached at 1-800-432-2737.

Q: QuestionDoes the Keurig need to be descaled like the stand alone coffee makers do? And if so, how often?

To clean it, open the lid and place the K-Cup brewer in the top rack of your dishwasher and run in a normal wash cycle. This unit will bring convenience into your home. This model is not one of our select dual-icemaker models and we apologize for any disappointment this may cause. It is designed with a Space Saving Icemaker that is located on the left fresh food door, which provides for more food storage and makes getting ice easy. Its icemaker will make approximately 3.6 lbs. per day and the ice bin holds up to 3.8 lbs. We hope that this helps and would be happy to answer any additional questions you might have. Q: QuestionCan you place a tall coffee cup in the keurig?

• A:Answer Yes. You can put up to about an 8 inch travel mug under it. But the keurig only produces 6. 8 or 10 oz of liquid. The hot water which runs through the same spout you can set I believe up to 24 oz.
