• A:Answer Yes, the CVW93044PWM can be used with your ceiling height. We recommend you review the "Installation Height" table on pg. 14 onf the Installation Instructions to determine how much space you will need in your location. -Don@CafeAppliances

Q: QuestionCan this be used ductless (recirculating) for a ceiling height of 7’6”? If so why can’t the 8’ duct cover kit cx8dc9spwm work for this configuration and what are my options for a duct cover?

• A:Answer Yes, this can be recirculated with the recirculation duct (WB34X30519), and Charcoal Filter (UXCF91) instead of the optional duct covers as seen of page 22 because you have lower ceilings. Note: You don't need the duct cover kits. The hood is designed to be used with or without ducts/duct covers. Thanks so much for checking with us. Joyce@CafeAppliances

Q: Question1. Whether this range hood can be used to replace over the top range microwave? in other words, whether this could be used as below cabinet range hood? 2. Our CAFE over the top microwave exhaust outside, whether the same exhaust could be used ?

• A:Answer You certainly can install this range hood to a cabinet! You will need to use 8" round duct to vent it through the ceiling or 8x12" duct transition with 12" round duct to vent through a wall. If you'd like, you can view the full instructions for this on page 15 of the Use and Care manual on the product page. We know this hood will make a wonderful addition to your home and that you'll really enjoy the QuietBoost feature!

• A:Answer Hello – we’re glad you reached out! This model can be vented externally, yes, or by using recirculation. A recirculation duct (WB34X30519), and Charcoal Filter (UXCF91), are not included with the hood and are necessary for recirculation installation. For more information, see the Connect Ductwork section on page 22 of the Installation Guide. This can be located on the bottom of the Features section on the Best Buy product page. Q: QuestionHi, I'm reading and it seems like the only option for this hood is to be vented to the outdoors. Is that correct? What cafe hoods do you have that are ventless? Are ventless hoods just as efficient for cleaning the kitchen air? Thank you
