- Answer Hi SueEllen - Thanks for considering Café Model # CGS750P2MS1! Broil mode is offered in the lower oven only. In double oven models, you cannot self clean both ovens at the same time; you also cannot bake in one while self-cleaning the other. Keep in touch at cafeappliances.com. Sue

QuestionDoes the top oven (2) toast? Currently I have my oven will toast. It works awesome and I've illuminated my toaster oven. It also works great to reheat pizza with the toaster feature. The toast feature has become essential for our family

Most range or cooktop models do not require a ventilation system or have a CFM requirement; however, we recommend checking the local residential codes in your area to see if one is required. QuestionI have read oven safe glass bakeware can't be used in the upper oven since it will be too close to the heating element (temperature differential could cause the glass baking dish to shatter). Is that true, or can I use glass bakeware in the upper oven?

- Answer All ranges and cooktops made by Café Appliances are safe and meet or exceed consensus safety standards. You can lock the oven controls using the “Lock Controls” button, but you cannot lock the cooktop knobs.

QuestionHow do I get the dsplay to appear again? Yesterday it was on when newly installed. Today it is not visible. Butons make noise, stove heats up. Display is just not visible. Screen is black. I pressed and held Settings for 5 seconds. It did not do any good.

There are a few possible reasons for this to occur: 1. A fuse in your home may be blown or the circuit breaker tripped. 2. The clock could be turned off. 3. The oven controls are improperly set. Or 4. The oven is in Sabbath Mode. -- Solutions for these issues and more can be found in the Troubleshooting Tips section of the owner’s manual. - Answer Hi when you turn on the oven it will give you options as to what you would like to use the oven selected for. So you would select broiler mode on either oven.
