The Space Saving icemaker produces approximately 3.6 lbs. of ice per day and stores 3.8 lbs of ice that can be dispensed through the ice and water dispenser on the door, or by removing the ice bucket from the door. A single cold water line connection is required. The cold water is heated for this feature. This option lets you choose your own temperature or from one of the 4 pre-programmed settings to simplify hot food and drink preparation. The hot water tank holds approximately 22 oz. of water. Up to 10 oz. of hot water is dispensed at a time. The heating time can vary depending on the inlet water temperature, temperature selected, and other variables. You typically get hot, filtered water in minutes. The heating mechanism is located inside the tank. Tank is stainless; outside of tank is wrapped in plastic for insulation.   • QuestionIs this fridge really 27.8 CuFt? what's the difference between this model (CFE28USHSS) and the model CYE22USHSS? Trying to figure out which to buy TIA!

    • Answer The first one mentioned is 27.8 Cubic feet and is 36 1/4 in deep. The second one is 22 cubic feet so its a lot smaller (mostly in depth), 31 1/4 deep. .

A Quick Space shelf offers a taller space between the refrigerator shelves without moving the shelves. It consists of two pieces of tempered glass that are placed in a special tracking system. The front piece of glass easily slides under the back piece of glass. This gives space for a taller bottle, gallon container, or large food item to be set on the shelf below. Thanks for checking. Install updates if available, then attempt to dispense hot water. The fault might also clear if the electronics are reset. Unplug the refrigerator, or turn the breaker off, for 1 minute, then restore power, then attempt to dispense hot water.     • Answer Any brand of K-Cup will work with this. But if you are referring to the refillable K-Cups, no they will not work. Because they are not a sealed unit and only snap close, when the built-in coffee maker does its final thrust of hot water it's spews coffee all over the back. Learned that the hard way. Otherwise it's a great fridge

  • QuestionWe are trying to find a re-usable k cup that will work with the Keurig device on our ge cafe refrigerator...have you found any re-usable k cups that allow the device to close and lock properly?

    • Answer Don't do it.. I did the same thing and found ones that fit in there. the problem is unlike a regular K-Cup they are not sealed because they only snap close. Therefore during the final thrust of hot water it sends hot coffee all over your fridge, from the top of the k-cup holder.
