    • Answer Recomends NOT to blend boiling liquids. Hot liquids can only be blended if center piece of two-piece cover is removed. (Creates pressure buildup)

    • Answer Calphalon Blender model: BLCLMB1 has Large smooth plastic 64oz full ounces (8 cups) with 2 cups MORE headroom for blending. LARGE capacity was MAIN reason for purchase. Only drawback is it is NOT supposed to run for LONGER than ONE minute at a time. Recommends resting (to cool) one minute between minute. Smooth inside is VERY easy to clean, and blades detach from all jars.
