Sorry there are uninformed people answering your question! It most certainly will fit on and perform fine on your 80D. EF lenses can be used on the APS-C camera bodies, but EF-S lenses cannot be used on Full Frame bodies, such as the 5D Mark IV. The 'effective Field of View' will be the equivalent of 320 mm, so be sure to keep your Shutter speed at a higher rate to avoid blurring images, as it lacks Image Stabilization. It will be a very good Telephoto length for capturing 'Hummers,' and other birds and animals. Hope this helps! Happy Shutterbugging!
