A:AnswerYou do have to have the M adapter for your regular Canon lenses to work but using them defeats the purpose of having this small camera in the first place. That is why there are lenses specific for the M series. You certainly can use the other ones but than why not use a DSLR? I think the whole point is to have something to carry on vacation or on a hike and get great pics without the bulk of an SLR. As far as video, I don't use it but I agree 4K should have been included.
