“The description says it accepts both EF and the R lenses but the "what's included" section doesn't show that an adapter is included. I need to know that it is included before purchasing, as that is a fairly expensive item if buying afterward.”

Adapters are not typically included with cameras or lenses unless in a bundle stating they are. There are no adapters included with this camera.

No adapter was included in the camera. Native mount is R. R-EF adapter has to be purchased separately

you need to get an adapter, since is not included. then you'll be able to use all the gamma of EF lenses from canon, sigma, tamron. the adapter itself cost around 99 dollars
