A:AnswerThis adapter is exactly what you need. It will allow you to use your old EF & EF-S lens on the new M50 camera body. That's exactly what it says in the overview.
A:AnswerI just bought this adapter yesterday. But it DOES NOT fit the Canon Mark 5d IV. The smooth part of the adapter where the red dot is, is to insert a lens. and the side with only one white dot it to insert into the camera.
this adapter is more to use the Canon 5d Mark IV lenses on older cameras.
A:AnswerThis will adapt EF lenses for use on the Canon M50. Make sure to change the camera's shutter setting if using a manual focus lens, as it won't read the lens otherwise. Auto-Focus lenses should be plug-and-play on this. Enjoy!
A:AnswerYes it will this is the reason I needed to purchase the adapter. I bought the lens thinking it would work, but quickly discovered I needed the adapter.
A:AnswerI would bring your camera in to verify, but it appears the EF 2x ii uses an EF mount (red circle) on both ends. The SL1 can natively use it if you align the extender with the red dot on the camera. No other adapters should be needed, though it appears to only work for EF lenses. SL1 - EF 2x ii extender - EF mount lenses. The EF-M to EF and EF-S adapter associated with this post would be needed if you wanted to use the EF extender on an EF-M camera, like the M50. I have both the SL1 and the M50, the EF-M adapter on this page, and a few EF, EF-S, and EF-M lenses. I hope this helped.
