No. It does not incorporate a scanner. It is strictly an inkjet printer; a very good one.

No it does not. Strictly a professional style photographic printer. I would recommend you go to Canonusa website and search for pixma with copy function in the search menu. They have types from their big tank style on down to your simple all in one printers. Listed below are 3 I would recommend. there are numerous other Canon printers, as well as, other name brands. I prefer Canon due to most Canon printers gave gone to individual ink tank technology, as compared to others. Also, Epson has good quality and they do have some with individual ink tanks, but I would stay away from most HP, and Brother due to their ink pack technology. A lot more expensive in the long run.
