• A:Answer I've had the camera for a month and haven't yet recharged the battery. It's remained on full charge so far. I take about a couple of pictures every other day (on an average, I've taken about a hundred pics so far). I download the photos to my computer using a USB adapter that I already had from a previous Canon camera. I'm sure there would be more battery consumption if I transferred the photos wirelessly. So please keep that in mind. I like the camera so far, especially for taking close-ups.

• A:Answer I am not an i Pad owner but I use an i Phone 7. Using the Wifi capability of this camera I regularly download photos from the camera to my i Phone. Depending on how tech savvy she is, at the age of 10 she may requires some help at first but once you do it a few times it becomes second nature. It's one of the features I bought this camera for.
