No, the wifi function doesn't work for me. I tried installing the wifi software on both Windows 8 and 10, both failed. So don't waste your time, go buy a cable to transfer your pictures from camera to computer. I wrote an answer earlier today, for some reason it was not posted.

I went to the Best Buy store and bought an Insignia Mini USB cable at $12.99, it works well, so that I could transfer the pictures from camera to my laptop. So don't waste your time in downloading the wifi software. It took my hours and still doesn't work, Canon should let customers know about this.
