If I am understanding the question correctly, no, you cannot simultaneously shoot a video and snap a photo. When shooting a video, if you press the shutter release button it stops the video and does NOT take a photo. However, while set to video mode and the camera is idle, you can take a normal photo with the shutter release without having to first change modes. The camera has an HDMI port which should enable you to connect to a computer or TV. I have not tried it. To correct a previous person's post, this camera does NOT have Bluetooth. It does however have both WiFi and NFC.
